Concerts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Ingrid Marsoner is a frequent guest at famous Concert Halls all over the world. Concert invitations brought her to the Golden Hall of Wiener Musikverein, to the Vienna Konzerthaus, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, the Merkin Hall in New York, the Kiew Philharmonic Hall or the Cultural Center Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She performed at well-known Festivals such as the Wiener Festwochen, the Merano Music Festival, the Styriarte, the Carinthian Summer, the \u201cRarities of Piano Music\u201d in Husum, the Bravissimo Festival in Guatemala City, the Int. Downers Grove Music Festival, the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series in Chicago or the Philharmonic Society Gibraltar, just to mention a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In collaboration with the Austrian Consulate General, Ingrid Marsoner was the first European pianist, playing ein concert in a Brasilian Favela (Favela Jacarezinho\/Rio de Janeiro, for the social projects “Celula Urbana” by Dietmar Starke).

Ingrid Marsoner has performed as a soloist togehter with numerous Orchestras and Conductors, including the Wiener Symphoniker under Philippe Jordan, the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra under Cornelius Meister, the Biel Symphony Orchestra under Thomas Roesner, the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine under Mykola Dyadyura, the Beethoven Philharmony under Christoph Campestrini, the Graz Symphony Orchestra under Fabio Luisi, Jonathan Haskell and Peter Schrottner, the Sinfonia Classica di Guatemala City under Riccardo del Carmen, der Austrian-Korean Philharmonic Orchestra under Yoon-Kuk Lee, the Macedonia Chamber Orchestra and the Camerata pro Musica under Paul Weigold and many others.
Moreover, Ingrid Marsoner is an enthusiastic chamber musician and performed with famous instrumentalists such as the Franz Schubert Quartett, Kit Armstrong and Elias Meiri. She played several recitals together with star actor Klaus Maria Brandauer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Piano sonatas by Franz Schubert, Johann Sebastian Bach\u00b4s Goldberg Variations, Ludwig van Beethoven\u2019s Concerto No. 1 in C major and Johann Nepomuk Hummel`s Piano Concerto in A minor, together with the Biel Symphony Orchestra under Thomas R\u00f6sner, piano sonatas by Rick LaSalle (*1951), piano works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and finally her most recent CD of late piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, awarded with a Pizzicato SuperSonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore she recorded works by Franz Schubert, Edvard Grieg and Leo\u0161 Jan\u00e1\u010dek (ORF | OE1), Robert Schumann\u00b4s Kreisleriana Op.16 (tiPro | LondonHall) and Jan Ladislav Dussek\u00b4s Piano Concerto in F major togehter with the Camerata pro Musica under Paul Weigold (Ars Produktion) Ingrid Marsoner won first prizes in the Austrian Federal Competition, the Steinway Competition and the Jeunesse Competition and at the YAPMF in Los Angeles. She won the Martha Debelli stipend of Graz University of Music and the Bosendorfer stipend of Vienna University of Music.
Ingrid Marsoner grew up in Graz in a musical family and began to play the piano at the age of four. When she was eleven, she entered the Graz University of Music and studied with Sebastian Benda, a pupil of Edwin Fischer. Later, she studied at the Vienna University of Music with the legendary Georgian pianist Rudolf Kerer. Finally, she received private lessons from famous pianists such as Tatjana Nikolaieva, Paul Badura-Skoda and Alfred Brendel.
Ingrid Marsoner was a jury member at the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig and at the Austrian Federal Competition “Prima la Musica”. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
